2 For behold, Your enemies ^amake an uproar,
And ^bthose who hate You have ^{▼▼ Lit lifted up the head
,} ^dexalted themselves.
3 They ^emake shrewd plans against Your people,
And ^{▼▼ Or consult}conspire together against ^gYour ^{▼▼ Or hidden ones}treasured ones.
4 They have said, “Come, and ⁱlet us wipe them out ^{▼▼ Lit from}as a nation,
That the ^kname of Israel be remembered no more.”
5 For they have ^{▼▼ Or consulted
,} ^mconspired together with one mind;
Against You they make a covenant:
